Located on Nazaré seafront, right on the beach, the Nazaré Thalassotherapy Centre complies with international quality standards for this type of facility.
Located right by the coast, in a healthy natural environment and less than one thousand metres from deep waters, Thalasso offers therapies based on natural resources: seawater, seaweed, marine mud and the sea air itself.
Nazaré’s marine climate and environment are influenced by a geological phenomenon known as the Nazaré Canyon – a gigantic underwater valley that begins around 100 metres from the coast and extends into the Atlantic Ocean, reaching a maximum depth of five thousand metres.
The hydrodynamics of the submarine canyon bring cold, nutrient-rich waters from the depths of the ocean to the surface, contributing to an even healthier marine environment.
